HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT SURVIVAL TOOL I recently picked up a DPX HEST/F 2.0 from a friend and I am thoroughly impressed. The HEST blade is Manufactured in Italy by Lion Steel out of [...]

I recently picked up a Leatherman Wingman for a new EDC multitool. In a way, its the popular Wave’s little brother. The Wingman features a locking blade as well as scissors that can be accessed from the outside as well as the standard pliers. The pliers in the Wingman though do feature something new, a [...]

This is the newer version of their Recon Rifle Bag. I have had the original for some time now and have liked it very much. Some of the changes were certainly for the better. If you are in the market for the original you will have a hard time finding them though. Hawkepaks Recon Rifle [...]

I recently went to Orlando and got screwed over by the car rental place..

I had intended to get a rental and buy a knife at a local store or someplace..

but no car, no knife

All I had was my Swiss Tech Utili-Key (6-1 tool)(which was allowed on the plane) for almost a week as my only blade

I wasn't cutting down trees obviously, but all the minor tasks I typically use my pocket knife for, that dang key handled quite well

I am very impressed by this little gadget
Much more impressed now than all the while I've had it and never really used it

We took a look at this stainless steel pen that costs under $6. It has a fine point (0.7 mm) with a textured steel grip. The Zebra F-701 has a quiet plunger for a silent click. The F701 has a sturdy metal pocket clip. The F701 is refillable with a Zebra F-refill. The refills are available in both Black and Blue in either Fine 0.7mm or Medium 1.0mm. The Zebra F-701 refill comes two in a package for $4
